Re: 2021 Season
I guess this is a time that not being NHL owned hurts. I just read that the icehogs are playing all home games at the BMO center, all home games will be broadcast on local tv, and they are working with the city and county trying to get limited fans allowed later in the season.

The piggies aren't nhl owned either. All their games have been on local tv (they take the internet feed). Of course the city wants fans in the arena as they get the ticket money and concessions (at least some of each).Wollvesfan86 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 24, 2021 10:49 amI guess this is a time that not being NHL owned hurts. Re: 2021 Season
I stand corrected. With the amount of control the hawks have over them I thought they were owned.
Re: 2021 Season
I haven't seen an announcement on a TV schedule. I would think that they will not be on Regular TV. AHLTV isn't that bad. I liked it the last few years.Wollvesfan86 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 1:51 pmBefore I subscribe to AHLTV, is it safe to assume that games wont be on regular tv this year?

Re: 2021 Season
This is a lost season. No playoffs, no ticket revenue. I don't blame him for not trying to put them on TV this season.chilly666 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 23, 2021 9:57 pmyou know how cheap this franchise has become right?

Fans: TV Games in 2021?

The Wolves are paying for AHL TV subscriptions for season tix holders. I believe it's just Wolves home and away. You have to upgrade if you want the league wide package.

Re: 2021 Season
I have bought AHLTV playoff packages in the past. Some feeds are good, but others were pretty bad. It will be interesting to see how it is from the Triphahn center. I'm going to but the all teams season pass anyway, cheaper than going to 1 gameMike wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 10:13 amI haven't seen an announcement on a TV schedule. Re: 2021 Season
AHL TV works pretty well, my only complaint was the games in Texas, where they insisted on using a roof camera, instead of a closer up look like most arenas. Considering it's only going to be the 4 teams that are closest to us, I don't think there are going to be any issue with the broadcasts.
